Acer B223, monitor via USB

Acer B223

Acer is one of the manufacturers that are pointing to the monitors that run through the USB port, thanks to technology DisplayPort DisplayLink. It does so with the Acer B223, a 22-inch widescreen display that offers a maximum resolution of 1680 x 1050 pixels.

This technology allows you to connect up to six monitors to your computer chain, without requiring additional graphics cards. We can also quickly convert our laptop into a desktop computer, because with a single USB 2.0 cable plug the monitor, keyboard and mouse.

The Acer B223 does not require drivers for their operation in Windows, offering compatibility with Aero if we work with Vista. It is also compatible with computers running Mac OS X, although in this case it will have to download the drivers.

The monitor provides height adjustment, rotation and tilt, to suit our tastes, and its response time is 5 milliseconds. Is put on sale in Europe for a price of 339 euros.
