Asus N10 Notebook with NVIDIA graphics

A few days ago we were discussing the launch of Asus N10, a 10.2-inch ultraportable from coming to market with a number of features above the rest of the devices in competition.

Asus N10 Notebook

He drew particular attention to the HDMI connection, which is already somewhat strange to see in conventional laptops, which of course is much less common in ultraportátiles its existence. Behind the HDMI output will be an NVidia GeForce 9300 GS, making the Asus N10 in the first ultraportable with non-integrated graphics.

The fact is that although the novelty of what I find most interesting, we must bear in mind that if by now if ultraportátiles fall short in terms of autonomy, the battery of N10 will suffer even more than in any other netBook.

The integration of a graphic in an ultraportable see it as something quite preposterous, as it is a product that was conceived as a low-yield device, or rather adjusted performance. An ultraportable is not prepared, at least the current models, to move applications of great weight, but are designed for low-power applications and to try to have a battery use as long as possible. A designer will suffer while working at 1024×600 pixels is fairly fluid, and likewise a person who plays this resolution does not enjoy as much as it should.

I suppose that is what I think. No, I see a lot of sense, but as for taste, color… because Asus has already taken the first step with its N10, the first ultraportable with external graphics, outside plate.
