Panasonic Lumix G1
Again revolution in the world of photography. Finally today when Panasonic has been presented to the world its new Panasonic Lumix G1 digital camera with the new system micro four thirds.
The Panasonic Lumix G1 is the first model of this new range that comes with power in the world of digital photography with a major detail: We can put interchangeable lenses but with a size camera closest to compact cameras because it eliminates the system to mirror the vision, and is chosen directly by a viewer.
What remains is the size of the DSLR sensor as well as the interchangeable lens system, with a smaller size and weight of the body, but as we see from the photos, apparently the remains of a false DSLR, which means that have not wanted to risk much in the differentiation with traditional aesthetics.
It is expected the micro four thirds system, which personally I do not see a need nor a price or yield in the first tests. In the end, not an element with so many improvements to grab market as a compact between the more advanced or more basic DSLR.
The image above with the Panasonic Lumix G1 in two colors unusual in the DSLR is the only license that have been different.
The questions about this new system is compatible with existing lenses. Well, for disaster of this new system, use their own lenses (two models have been presented today also, with not too much quality in terms of brightness for example, but that certainly give us more details of our fellow Xatakafoto) or in any case, some of the current system but with four thirds adapter.
As for the Panasonic G1, carries a 12.1-megapixel sensor system with cleaning it. The images can be stored in the RAW format or in combination with a JPEG.
The weight and dimensions are obviously far more contained that DSLR system with four thirds, it has been submitted to the new system. The Panasonic battery G1 are introduced some measures 124 x 84 x 45 mm and weighing 385 grams without battery and without glasses.
The sensitivity of the covers 100 to 3200 ISO, quite well, but we’ll see how noise levels get from the pictures when we choose the highest levels. The blast is 3 fps in RAW with limitation 7 images followed, with 3 fps but also with unlimited recording when using JPEG format. We also have HDMI output with Viera Link for example that allows us to control the presentation of photos on your TV with the command of an LCD Viera.
As for the screen, we can move fairly flexible, its size is 3 inches, with a resolution of nearly half a megapixel.
And only remains for us to grasp aid to photos that are included in the camera, a mixture of compact and DSLR world. For example we have a stabilization system MegaOIS, intelligent control of the sensitivity, face detection and scene modes with intelligent selection.
